Built in 1736, our exclusive location offers 55 rooms, 12 palace suites, and two townhouses.   • Salary: starting at EUR 3.300,00 gross monthly (variable based on qualifications and experience) paid 14 times per year

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Preparation and presentation of gourmet dishes and their mise en place

  • Instruction and training of new employees

  • Introduction of new ideas in all areas of the kitchen (dishes, products, goods, etc.)

  • Support the Executive Chef in all areas

  • Creation of duty rosters, including vacation planning

  • Role model in the execution and implementation of the Executive Chef's menu and guidelines for the whole team

  • Control of products, including at the reception of goods

  • Control of the cold storage rooms in accordance with HACCP and participation in inventory

  • Adherence to quality standards

  • Engage and ensure smooth cooperation with the Banquets Team

  • Ability to cover any station

Job requirements

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You have:

  • Completed vocational training as a chef

  • Proven professional experience as a sous chef or in a managerial position

  • Strong administrative skills

  • Strong communication skills as well as the ability to consistently observe, evaluate, and optimize processes and results

  • Good people management skills, leadership qualities, and a high level of organizational talent
