WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING 

  • Perform daily rounds of the entire Schloss premises to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards 

  • Independently carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks 

  • Coordinate and supervise external service providers and technicians as needed 

  • Set up and dismantle equipment for events in indoor and outdoor areas 

  • Assist with gardening and park maintenance when needed 

  • Support technical aspects of sustainability efforts (e.g., energy efficiency, waste management) 

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and coordinate regular inspections (e.g., fire protection, elevators) 

  • Work closely with the Manager, Housekeeping & Facility  

Job requirements

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Completed vocational training in a trade (e.g., electrician, plumber, HVAC) or extensive hands-on experience in a technical/maintenance role 

  • Strong technical knowledge and practical skills 

  • Good command of German; English is a plus 

  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style 

  • Physical fitness and willingness to work both indoors and outdoors 

  • Reliability, resilience, and a sense of responsibility 

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage ongoing maintenance tasks 

  • Team spirit and good collaboration with colleagues across departments
