Built in 1736, our exclusive location offers 55 rooms, 12 palace suites, and two townhouses. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
This role focuses primarily on the ongoing care and presentation of our grounds. Your main responsibilities will include:
General garden maintenance: mowing lawns, weeding, trimming hedges and shrubs
Keeping the grounds neat, tidy, and safe for guests year-round
Supporting seasonal planting, pruning, and clean-up tasks
Assisting with basic outdoor maintenance such as sweeping paths and clearing leaves or snow
Collaborating with the housekeeping, facility, and events teams as needed
Supporting the care of flower beds and potted plants around guest areas
Support with landscaping or planting projects
Job requirements
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work and takes pride in maintaining beautiful and welcoming spaces. You are/you have:
Experience in garden or grounds maintenance (formal training is welcome but not required)
A practical, hands-on approach and enjoyment of outdoor work in all seasons
An eye for detail and a strong sense of cleanliness and order
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude
German or English skills
We welcome applicants with horticultural or landscaping backgrounds, but also encourage candidates with practical experience in garden or grounds upkeep to apply—even without formal qualifications.
